About Cyclone of Langstone

Cyclone of Langstone is a Westerly Storm. Depending on your screen resolution, you may see her at the bottom left of our background picture. If not, the same picture's repeated below, together with another taken in Honfleur:

Braye Harbour, Alderney
Honfleur, Normandy
At 33' she's an ideal boat for 2 people to cruise in. Easily managed, strongly built and also fast - having been conceived as a One Design racer as well as a cruising boat.

She has 2 separate double cabins which, whilst not exactly palatial, mean friends can join us for holidays. She has enough mod cons to be practical, warm and comfortable.

Heads. Small, but you won't fall off in a seaway!

Cyclone has a good sized chart table and all the usual instrumentation including a few "luxuries" such as navtex, radar, a simple chartplotter (backed up by Navionics apps on a couple of HUDLs and a phone) and AIS. She also carries an ancient, but reliable, autohelm ST2000 - the one with the separate control box and ram - which is a godsend on longer passages.

She's not in the first flush of youth (neither are we!) but we wouldn't part with her.
